We've partnered with V12 Retail Finance to offer interest free mattress credit (in fact it's applicable on all orders over £250). Monthly instalments can be spread over 6 or 12 months and you can find more info on applying on our website.
To apply for finance with V12 you'll need to be:
18 years or older
In permanent paid employment, self-employed, homemaker, retired and receiving a pension, working student in part time work or in receipt of a disability benefit
A UK or Jersey resident for 3 years or more
Have a debit or credit card in your name, which is registered to your address, to pay the deposit where applicable
Have a Bank or Building Society current account available – this is required to complete the direct debit instruction
Have a valid email address to receive the important information throughout the application process, including the signed credit agreement

No, a deposit isn’t required on our V12 Retail Finance plans. You can apply for finance with nothing to pay upfront. Your monthly payments will simply be based on the full order value.
It works exactly as it normally would. You try out the mattress in your own home for 200 nights, with the option to return it to us during that time. If you’ve already paid any instalments during your trial and you decide not to continue, we will cancel the agreement with V12 Retail Finance and arrange a refund of any money already paid when we process your return. It usually takes up to ten working days for this all to be completed.
Absolutely. We know some of our customers enjoy taking advantage of four months interest-free on PayPal for orders over £99. You don't have to choose the 0% finance option at our checkout, as the credit is offered and arranged by PayPal. Just pay normally, with PayPal as your payment source, and make sure you follow the correct procedure in your PayPal account. If you haven't used it before, you can find out more on PayPal's website.
No, you don't have to pay extra to buy your Simba mattress on credit with Splitit; this is an interest-free payment method with no additional fixed fees, service fees, interest or hidden fees of any kind.
No, your item will be processed after the first initial instalment and delivered as normal upon passing our Quality Control check at Head Office.
Yes, as long as you have a valid Visa or Mastercard with the available credit limit as the price of the item or items you would like to purchase.
Nothing, no credit check is required if you use a Splitit instalment plan and there is no impact on your credit score. All the bank sees are the individual instalment charges each month. If one of your payment authorisations is declined, there is still no effect on your credit rating; it is simply a declined charge. The denial would simply accelerate payment of the remaining balance (unless you provide a different card which was not denied).
You can pay using Splitit with a Mastercard or Visa credit and debit card. American Express and pre-paid cards are not accepted.
The instalments appear on your statement as individual charge items with the name of ‘Simba’. These payments will appear monthly according to your instalment plan, with the same charge amount each time.
Customers can still enjoy the credit card benefits such as air miles or points when using Splitit.

Yes. A credit check is performed to assess your eligibility during your application.
Credit scoring is the process used by financial services companies to evaluate the credit risk of new applicants. This technique will be applied to your application for online finance. Credit scoring works by awarding points for each answer given on the application form such as age, income and occupation, together with information obtained from credit reference agencies.
This information allows consistent decisions to be provided, ensuring all applicants are treated fairly. Credit scoring does not discriminate on the grounds of sex, race, religion or disability.
During the V12 application process you will confirm your bank details for your repayments to be collected via direct debit. You can also make overpayments by contacting V12 directly or via your V12 self-service portal that you will be sent more information about via email once you have successfully completed your application.
To guard against fraudulent applications, we are only able to deliver goods to your home address.
The first step is to contact the retailer directly to cancel your order. If you have already received your order, you’ll need to arrange
for it to be returned using the retailer’s returns process. The retailer will then contact us to confirm your order has been returned, so
we can issue a refund and cancel your credit agreement.
Applications may not be accepted for several reasons, including mis-typed information, or not meeting the specified requirements. Please note that other conditions may apply and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.
If your application isn't successful, you can still purchase the item or items you would like in full via a valid credit or debit card or any of our other payment methods. If your application is declined, it’s usually for one of the following reasons:
you do not meet the eligibility criteria;
adverse credit reference agency information;
your credit score;
you are considered to be overcommitted financially;
or - your existing account performance with other lenders.
If you wish to appeal the decision made by V12, it’s advised you obtain an up-to-date copy of your credit report from either of the Credit Reference Agencies listed below before appealing directly to V12. Due to data protection, all customer appeals must be emailed to underwriting@v12finance.com and a member of V12’s Underwriting Team will respond to you accordingly.
You can also contact the Credit Reference Agencies if you think there is a mistake on your credit report: Experian, Equifax or TransUnion.
