Here at Simba, we use our sleep expertise to ensure our single fitted sheets offer a superior performance and guarantee you a great night’s sleep.
Simba fitted sheets are made from makes 100% natural breathable cotton, but our double fitted bed sheets also feature Stratos(R) fabric technology. This provides instant coolness to the touch and actively draws heat away from the body when you’re too hot.
Our single fitted sheets measure W90cm x L190cm - the standard sheet size for a UK single bed; they’re the perfect fit for Simba single mattresses and any other mattresses up to 40cm deep.
We’re fully committed to more sustainable sleep, which is why our fitted single sheets are made from 100% Cotton via Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) sources. This soft and crisp cotton is better for the people who produce it and the environment it grows in; Better Cotton is not always physically traceable to end products, but BCI farmers benefit from the demand for Better Cotton in equivalent volumes to those we source. In addition, 100% of the water we use for spinning and weaving the cotton is also recycled or reused.
Thread count refers to the number of threads of yarn in one square inch of fabric. As a rough guide, the higher the thread count, the softer the fabric is to the touch, and good quality bed linen usually has a thread count of 180 or more.
Simba Sleep bed sheets are available in two thread counts:
● 200 Thread Count Percale Weave - Soft and strong, our tightly woven percale weave sheets are crisp and light; percale refers to the simple criss-cross wave pattern which creates a structure that’s smooth and more durable.
● 400 Thread Count Satin Weave - Our 400 thread count satin weave single bed sheets have a subtle sheen and smooth, luxury feel. Exquisitely soft to the touch, our satin weave gives the sheets a heavier feel than our percale sheets, making them feel especially luxurious.
Washing your Simba fitted single sheet couldn’t be easier. Just pop it in your machine at 40°C and tumble dry it on the lowest heat seating.
