You shouldn't lose sleep over receiving your Simba order. So we give you a range of options to suit you, including free standard delivery with a two-person delivery crew. And if you're taking advantage of our 100 night trial, don't worry - we don't charge for returns.
Coronavirus delivery information
We’ve been gathering as much information as possible about the impact of the Coronavirus (Covid-19). We have taken advice from relevant authorities, working out how we best protect our customers, our communities and our colleagues.
With that in mind we want to tell you about some of the steps we have taken so far.
- You can still pick a mattress delivery date
- Delivery times are not impacted
- You will not be asked to sign for the mattress instead we are taking photos of the mattress at your residence
- All customers will receive a doorstep mattress delivery only, you will be contacted before delivery
- If you wish to defer your mattress delivery this can be arranged, you will be contacted before delivery
Our delivery teams are maintaining the highest hygiene standards.
Due to circumstances outside of Simba's control, the option to have your old mattress removed at point of delivery is not currently available. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Finally, we’re in constant contact with all relevant authorities to make sure that we continue to do everything we can. If you have any concerns please contact our customer service teams.
You can choose a delivery date when purchasing one of our mattresses, simply select the date you want at the checkout. Earliest available delivery date to your postcode will be shown at checkout, this is usually in 2 business days when ordering before 2pm, 3 business days when ordering after 2pm. Any orders for accessories only placed after 2pm will be processed the next business day. But if you want to order now and aren't yet ready for delivery, it's no problem. If you need to hold delivery more than 14 days please get in touch with our team immediately after placing your order.
Once we’ve dispatched your order we’ll send you an email with the details applicable to your delivery. If you need to make any changes to your delivery including arranging special instructions or holding it less than 14 days, please wait until you’ve received this email and changes can be made with our delivery partner directly.
Your questions answered
- Who do you deliver with?
Does your order include a mattress? All mattress only orders (including the Hybrid Topper and Hybrid Bunk Mattress) will be delivered by either AO or UPS. Depending on when you need your mattress or if you need your old one taken away, we have different options at checkout - read more about these below.
For any other orders that don’t include a mattress (so if, for example, you’re ordering a pillow, duvet or bed linen) your order will be delivered by DPD Local.
- What are the delivery options?
Most of the UK can opt for free weekday delivery on a date of your choosing, simply make the choice from our calendar when you checkout.
In addition, we can offer: weekend delivery, timeslots, and can even remove your old mattress! These services, where available, will be displayed when you checkout after you’ve entered your delivery address.
In some instances, delivery on specific days of the week or any of our additional services may not be available and you will not see them in the checkout if we are unable to offer them – this will either be due to your location or limited capability around bank holidays.
For the highlands, Islands and remote locations around the UK we aren’t able to offer free delivery, this will be made clear at the checkout if your postcode falls into an area of restricted delivery capability.
- What to expect from standard free mattress delivery
Standard delivery of mattresses is typically via AO. Choose a date from our calendar for FREE delivery with AO, any day of the week, dependant on your location! Deliveries to Highlands and Islands make take longer but we’ve done our best to convey this through our calendar.
You will receive an AO tracking link via email, usually the night before delivery, so that you can keep an eye on your order. If delivery is missed, AO will be in touch to reschedule with you directly.
All AO deliveries are dropped into a room of your choice.
Please be aware our mattresses weigh around 40kg on average, so please do make use of our delivery crew on the day!
- What to expect from standard delivery with old mattress removal
Provided it’s in a good condition, removal of your old mattress at the same time as delivery can also be requested at checkout. Your old mattress will be recycled. One mattress can be collected per order, and please note furniture or bed frames can't be collected. Please ensure your old mattress is stripped of any bed linen (and sleeping people!) and there is free passage out from your home.
Mattress removal can be tricky, so we like to bring in the specialists. AO are premium 2-Man large parcel delivery services, assisting you by delivering your new Simba mattress directly to the room of your choice at the same time as removing your old mattress.
On the day of delivery you'll receive real time tracking and a delivery time prediction by email and SMS and the driver may call you, up to 1 hour before they arrive. Having selected for your old mattress to be removed, the delivery team will bag your old mattress, remove and recycle it. - What to expect from a delivery that doesn't include a mattress
If you haven't included a mattress in your order, items such as pillows, duvets or other bedding and accessories are delivered by DPD Local. This is FREE standard delivery from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Order before 2pm for delivery within 2 to 5 working days. Deliveries to Highlands and Islands make take longer.
You’ll receive a real-time tracking link via SMS and email from DPD once your order has despatched. On the day of delivery, you’ll also receive a 1-hour delivery window. Your order will be delivered to your doorstep.
Not going to be in? No problem. Click the real-time tracking link provided by DPD on your SMS/email and choose a day that suits you. Alternatively, DPD can leave your order in a safe place, with a neighbour of your choice or you can arrange to collect from your local DPD Pick Up shop.
- What else do I need to know?
We might occasionally use alternative couriers or local delivery services. If we need to for your order then we’ll let you know when we confirm despatch.
For all delivery options, please note that we cannot guarantee delivery during public holidays. Orders placed via this website can only be delivered within the UK. For international delivery, please visit the Simba website in your region.
