Our mission
Everyone should have access to better sleep. It’s the key to a happier, healthier life, but with millions of children in the UK living in Bed Poverty, not everyone is getting the sleep they need. A problem that’s only rising, it’s estimated that 30% of families struggle to afford beds for their kids. But these children are more than numbers; they’re people in need of a safe sleep environment. And we want to give them that by providing them with a bed bundle to call their own.
Bed Poverty in the UK
Bed Poverty is one of the biggest issues facing children from low-income families in the UK today. When someone doesn’t have their own bed to sleep in, they’re being prevented from having a good night’s sleep – which can lead to a host of mental and physical health impacts. As part of our mission to reduce Bed Poverty, we joined forces with The Sleep Charity to conduct our own research.
