  • What size is a double bed?

    Double beds are all designed to fit a UK standard double mattress (W135cm x L190cm), and we recommend pairing a Simba bed and mattress to get the best of both. However, there isn’t a standard double bed size – this will vary depending on the specific style of the bed itself, how high it is off the ground, materials used for the frame, headboard and other factors. 

    Our double bed sizes vary for each model, so we recommend taking a look at the product pages to get an exact set of measurements.

  • What materials are Simba double beds made from?

    We choose the highest quality materials in our double bed frames. And we include recycled materials whenever we can. All ‘virgin’ materials are sourced as mindfully as possible, for more responsible support. Depending on the style you choose, bed base materials will vary. That’s why we recommend checking out the product pages of your desired bed for an accurate breakdown.
