  • What size is Simba’s Super King Mattress?

    The Simba super king bed mattress is the largest mattress we offer, and it fits all standard UK Super King beds, measuring 180cmW x 200cmL. The depth of your super king mattress varies with the type of mattress you select; for example, our Earth range is packed with natural mattress materials and our signature sleep tech, with our Apex model measuring 30cm deep. But our Hybrid® Essential is just 20cm deep, so please check the product details before buying.

    If you’re concerned a Super King will be too big for your space, we recommend considering a King Size Mattress. Otherwise head over to All Mattresses for more details about our range.

    Simba’s innovative Aerocoil® springs are designed to offer tailored support for each partner, limiting motion transfer from one person to another. Their unique conical design means they compress inwards rather than sideways. Strong but small, they nestle unnoticed at the upper layers of your super king mattress where they support increased airflow - so we think the more the merrier.

  • Which of Simba’s super king size mattresses is best for heat control?

    Did you know your body temperature drops a few degrees when you sleep? So if you’re too warm in bed that natural process is halted, and you might find it harder to sleep. 

    That’s why all our super king Hybrid® mattresses are designed to help keep you cool: our patented Aerocoil® springs help push air gently through the top layers, and our open structure Simbatex® foam supports airflow. Our Earth range also has natural mattress materials to help you stay fresh and comfortable throughout the night.   

    Recommended Super King Mattress: All our Hybrid® super king mattresses are designed for fresher sleep, but any of our Earth mattresses can help you stay fresher more naturally.

  • Which of Simba’s super king size mattress is best for back pain?

    Poor alignment of the spine or inadequate body support may cause debilitating aches and pains. But we’re not medical professionals, so we can’t judge what’s right for your back. What we can say is that we’ve received huge amounts of positive feedback from people who say they’ve suffered from aches and pains, and our Simba mattresses have helped them to reach a great night’s sleep.

  • How are Simba Super King mattresses delivered and how much does it cost?

    Don’t worry, these luxurious mattresses are delivered free of charge, even in super king mattress sale periods. Some mattresses are rolled and boxed for extra convenience. Our entire Earth range, comes flat, unboxed and ready to go. 

    You have 200 nights to decide whether you are happy with your new super king mattress. But if you decide you’re not, for whatever reason, you can arrange a free collection.  

  • Can I buy a refurbished mattress for a super king bed?

    Yes. We believe refurbishment represents a more responsible use of resources and also gives more people the opportunity to enjoy better sleep at a lower price. 

    So any super king mattresses returned to us are rigorously inspected and assessed by our expert renewal team for refurbishment. Then they’re either recycled or refurbished by our trusted third partners, where they check, deep clean and sanitise every single component, replacing them where necessary, before a final inspection to receive a certified Simba guarantee.

  • Is my super king mattress recyclable?

    Because we’re committed to sending no mattresses to landfill, all the super king size mattresses for sale at Simba are suitable for recycling via our collection service or specialist providers. If you return a mattress during your 200-night trial (or under our 10-year guarantee), it’ll be refurbished; any with too much wear and tear are recycled. And when your mattress reaches the end of its life, check out the specialised Simba Mattress Recycling Service on our site: pay a small fee, and we collect it for you. Any brand, any size – no Simba purchase necessary.

  • How to care for and maintain your super king mattress

    Rest easy: you don’t need to flip your Simba super king mattress at any point. What we do suggest is rotating your mattress head to foot once a month for the first three months, then once every three months for the rest of its life. As for our super king Earth mattresses, twice a year after the first few months is enough, so your natural mattress fillings stay comfortable for longer. 

    Simba mattresses feature a machine washable cover you can zip off and wash, but it’s also a good idea to get one of our quilted cotton Super King Size Mattress Protectors to help protect your mattress from accidental spillages and general wear and tear. 

  • How long will my Simba super king mattress last for?

    We’re confident all our Simba mattresses will go the distance, which is why we offer a 10-year guarantee on all new mattresses. Manufacturing faults are rare, but if you stumble across any, just let us know and we’ll replace it with a brand new one.

  • Looking for a firm super king mattress?

    There’s no universal industry system that scores one so-called ‘firm mattress’ against another. But we believe a medium-firm super king mattress is most likely to offer the comfort our customers are looking for, so we’ve created our Hybrid® mattresses accordingly. They’re designed to offer supportive body alignment alongside soothing pressure relief.
