There are 50 slats in total per King/Super King bed (25 slats in each frame), 46 slats per Double bed (23 in each frame)
4 birch plywood slats (per frame) with sprung loaded fittings provide softer support around the shoulders; twin fixed slat shoes provide for maximum flexibility
3 sprung extra-wide birch plywood slats (per frame) are designed to provide firmer support in the lumbar zone. twin fixed slat shoes provide for maximum flexibility
1 sprung birch plywood slat with etched Simba logo
Remaining slats are birch plywood and sprung loaded, with a dark grey wrap finish.

I love this bed, it was really easy to put together, it's so comfortable along with our Simba mattress. The texture of the bed base is lovely and it looks really stylish. I would definitely recommend.
