Absolutely - it's designed that way, with two innovative ways to help keep you feeling fresh: Stratos® ‘cool touch’ technology and airy Simba Renew™ fibres. In the old days, duvets were assessed using tog ratings so you had warmer ones for winter and cooler ones for summer. With widespread central heating, that’s not so important - your winter bedroom might be warmer than your summer one!
Most of the year: use the Spring/Autumn duvet (grey binding, 7 Tog),
Warmer nights: use the Summer duvet (blue binding, 3.5 Tog),
Extra chilly nights: snap the two duvets together for a thermal value of 10.5 Tog.
Some say that higher thread count means higher quality, but that's a bit of a yarn. For the Simba Hybrid® 3 in 1 Duvet we've focussed instead on sourcing high quality Better Cotton, an organisation whose mission is help cotton communities survive and thrive, while protecting and restoring the environment.
What’s more, we’ve blended our cotton with Modal; a plant-derived material. It's smooth, soft and provides an excellent fabric base for our innovative Stratos® technology.
Stratos® is a technology designed to help you keep your cool.
It works a little bit like the ozone layer, which keeps the Earth’s temperature in check by absorbing the excess heat from the sun; it’s also designed to offer an instant freshness to the touch.
You'll know which side of your duvet or pillow is the high-tech one because we’ve added handy colour-coded piping along the edges. Blue side = cool side.
