All Simba Hybrid® mattresses combine signature comfort layers at the top and tailored support layers at the base.

The upper layers feature thousands of our tiny, titanium alloy Aerocoil® springs; these patented, pocketed springs flex and compress individually, and are designed to absorb impact as you move and in response to pressure, giving a hugged, floating sensation to most sizes or sleeping styles. The base layers feature zoned support to help support body alignment, with gentler support and extra cushioning for the shoulders and lower back.

There are many ‘soft to firm’ rating systems in the mattress industry worldwide. As a guide, our mattresses provide medium-firm support on one scale; independent studies have suggested medium-firm mattresses, on some rating scales, promote sleep quality and comfort.

For twice the comfort, twice the airflow

It’s not rocket science (that’s where the titanium alloy comes in), but we worked out that if we introduced two layers of our titanium alloy Aerocoil® springs we’d achieve a double helping of Simba benefits. They’re designed for suitable body support, enhanced airflow in the comfort layers and limited sleep disturbance when your partner shifts and turns. That’s why the Hybrid® Pro incorporates up to 5,000 titanium alloy micro-cones of comfort, 2,500 across each layer; the top layer provides initial soft comfort, progressing to more gradual support from the second layer.

It’s a double act that’s not to be missed.

For enhanced airflow all night long

Our Simbatex foam is an open structure foam; our sleep engineers have also infused it with graphite, known to dissipate heat. This innovative foam is combined with the enhanced airflow offered by the doubled up Aerocoil® spring layers, and topped off by a thermo-regulating layer of wool which works, together with our breathable sleep surface, to help you stay at your right temperature.

For Simba, a healthier planet is as important as restful sleep. And there’s no time to waste. Literally.

We try and use recycled materials wherever we can, but recycling foam has always been trickier - there are only so many dog beds the world needs after all.

So we’re thrilled to have come up with Simba ReGen™, our new mattress base layer. It’s made from suitable, surplus foam and turned into a high-quality product created to strict density levels; all the foam used is CertiPUR® standard.

Base

It definitely has the ‘edge’

Our innovative edge-to-edge springs are at the heart (or should we say base) of this mattress. Up to 1000 of them work together to provide robust support right across the mattress, allowing you to sleep up to the very edges with no dipping. Made from tempered steel, these deep, barrel-shaped springs are designed to enhance breathability through the mattress and are encased in fabric to ensure they respond independently to pressure.

All that, and they can still be compressed and rolled to enable boxed delivery.

So not all great engineering is building and bridges.
