WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR MATTRESSES. HOW DO I CHOOSE?

No matter which of our Earth range you choose, you’re always guaranteed a blend of our patented Simba tech and natural materials – all carefully selected for premium comfort. The difference lies in the layers, their materials and the number of micro springs in each one. The Source mattress has six layers and up to 3,250 springs with a cushioning cotton layer, our Escape mattress has seven layers, up to 4,250 springs and a soft, springy wool layer for optimum comfort – plus an extra layer of micro springs. And at the top of our range, our Apex mattress has eight layers and up to 5,750 springs, with soft cashmere, wool, silk and mohair cushioning for the ultimate plush sleep. Each of these three natural mattresses has added springs and layers, designed for heat regulation, lasting comfort and a truly luxurious feel. They’re also glue and foam free, meaning they’re easier to recycle at end of life.

WHAT BASE CAN I USE FOR MY SIMBA EARTH MATTRESS?

All our Simba beds are designed to match perfectly with your Earth mattress. Here are a few of our most popular: Platform top(flat top, can include divans) Slats(evenly spaced boards) Sprung divan or box spring(frame with springs set in) Please bear in mind our Earth range is packed with natural mattress materials; a damaged bed could impact it. We suggest trying a supportive bed base – like one of our Ottoman, Divan, Wooden or Upholstered models – for maximum support. If you have a slatted base, quickly whip out the tape measure to check the slats aren't more than three inches apart. And if they are, a baseboard will help.

WILL I NEED TO TURN MY MATTRESS?

You’ll be pleased to know the answer is no: you don’t have to turn it, but you do need to rotate it. Think of it as the 'no flipping way'. Rotating your Earth mattress regularly is one of the very few conditions of your 10-year warranty. Take it for a 180 degrees spin often within the first 3 months, then drop down to twice a year for the rest of its life. It’ll help your natural mattress stay comfortable for longer.
