What weight blanket is right for me?
Choose from two weights: 15Lb (6.8Kg) or 20Lb (9Kg).
Your blanket should weigh approximately 10% of your own body weight. You should be able to lift the blanket above your head, unassisted.

How the OrbitTM helps
Filled with thousands of weighted glass nano-beads to help relax you, the Orbit™ is designed to follow the contours of your body through its super-soft cotton exterior.
Feeling like a gentle, full-body hug, it helps stimulate a calming process known as ‘deep pressure therapy’. Anchoring your body so that your mind can float away.

Weighted blankets are soft blankets filled with small but weighted objects. The Orbit uses glass nano-beads to add weight; it’s designed to make the user feel gently hugged.
According to studies, a weighted blanket can engage a process known as 'deep pressure therapy'. Which relaxes the user, giving them a feeling of comfort and safety. Adults who want a really deep night's sleep. Which means The Orbit™ may be especially useful for those having trouble sleeping because of stress, worry or restlessness.
Children, the elderly, anyone suffering from breathing difficulties or circulatory issues (including diabetes). As a guide, we recommend you only use the Orbit if you can lift it above your head unassisted. In cases of pregnancy and kidney issues, consult your doctor before use.
Yes, you can use it at night; it’s designed to be used as a duvet. It comes with a removable and washable, breathable cotton cover to support air circulation.
There is anecdotal (and some research) evidence that a weighted blanket can be use to aid stress, anxiety, restlessness and insomnia.
There are numerous reports of weighted blankets helping to reduce stress and anxiety in users. It is NOT an alternative to medication or therapy.

The Orbit's exterior cover is machine washable at 30º. The interior is not, and should be cleaned with a damp cloth.
