WILL I NEED TO BUILD THIS BED?

No, not unless you want to! This bed includes free standard delivery, but for a little bit extra you can add our VIP delivery service if you wish. It’s run by a specialist delivery team who will build your bed for you in situ and remove all the packaging. They can also take away your old bed for recycling; just select these options at checkout.

DOES THE BED COME WITH A MATTRESS?

No, mattresses need to be purchased separately from your bed base, however our beds are designed to match our award-winning mattresses perfectly. Whether you go for our luxurious Earth range or our high-performance Hybrid® range, you'll find each one is packed with all our signature tech for superb support.

WILL I BE ABLE TO GET THIS BED INTO MY HOME?

Your bed base will arrive in four boxes securely packed for safe transit. These boxes will vary in size according to the bed size and base you choose. But to give you a rough idea, the headboard has a maximum size of 137cm high x 194 wide x 15cm thick (Super King). Whichever bed you choose, our courier will deliver to a room of your choice and assemble it for you for a small fee.

DO SIMBA BEDS COME WITH A GUARANTEE?

We’ve incorporated a sprung slatted base in the St. Ives; it’s compatible with all our mattresses and designed to optimise your comfort - and maximise ventilation for all your stored stuff.

The curved wooden slats are gently flexible, responding to your weight as you get on or off the bed; they’re designed to adjust to the pressure of your body, allowing greater comfort.

We do love an ottoman bed. They’re super space-efficient because you don’t have to open any drawers outwards.

As for the St. Ives, it offers wonderfully roomy and easy-access storage; a super king size St. Ives offers a huge 817 litres of capacity.

In addition the storage space itself has a solid, protective base and sturdy gas struts help you lift the mattress and base for easy access.
