We’re delivering as usual within 3 business days, with zero-contact delivery now as standard. For up to date details regarding delivery during COVID-19, click here. Standard delivery remains free to most of the UK.
You can also choose at checkout to have your old single mattress removed. Our two-person crew will do this at the same time as they deliver your new Simba single mattress.
We’re confident it’ll be love at first night - but we give you 200 to be sure. If you decide to return your Simba, we’ll collect it for free (and don’t worry, we wouldn’t dream of asking you to get it back in the box).
If you prefer to spread the cost of your single mattress, you can do it without having to pay a penny more than if you paid up front in one go. Plus you still get all the benefits of our risk-free 200 night trial.
Our single mattress is built to last - so we’ve got your back for a decade. If it fails during that time, we’ll swap it for a brand new one. It’s that simple.
All Simba single mattresses are sourced and made in Europe: we work with well-known, state-of-the-art single mattress factories in the UK.

About the Product
A single mattress measures 90cm x 190 cm x 25cm, making it a little wider and shorter than a UK small single mattress. In old money, it's 3 feet wide.
Great for guest rooms, bunk beds and divan sofas, single mattresses are also a great choice for children who have graduated from toddler beds. They're also great for making the most of a smaller space, perhaps used in a cabin bed for extra height to allow storage underneath.
Traditional spring single mattress: Usually found in guest bedrooms as an economical option, the springs in these old fashioned coil mattresses are joined to each other. So there's plenty of support, but the bouncing can get a bit much (if it's not creaking too).
Pocket spring single mattress: Pocket spring mattresses offer more flexible support by placing each spring individually into a fabric pocket. These mattresses often still use bigger, cylindrical box springs, with all the pros and cons those offer.
Memory foam single mattress: Memory foam is a type of viscoelastic which moulds to the body, making memory foam mattresses very comfortable. However, they're also known for trapping heat and can go softer as they warm up, giving sleepers a sweaty, sinking feeling.
Latex single mattress: Latex mattresses are made with latex foam, which is considered a natural product. Bouncier than memory foam, latex is not as good at preventing motion transfer, and tends to be heavier and more expensive.
Hybrid single mattress: Hybrid mattresses bring together two different kinds of traditional design, such as springs and foam. This aims to combine the advantages of both, without the limitations - so you get comfort and support without overheating or bouncing around.
As an innovative, unique hybrid mattress, the Simba Hybrid® single mattress offers the same award-winning comfort at every size. Our British steel micro springs are smaller and lighter than traditional clunky box springs, which means that there's no see-saw effect when sharing a bed. They're also specially shaped using a patented design to move individually around the hips, spine and shoulders, providing hundreds of points of pressure relief. The Simba Hybrid® single mattress has a spring count of 1,400 conical pocket springs, more than some traditional doubles, matched to a thick layer of visco memory foam for cloud-like comfort.
The Simba Hybrid® Mattress also has a unique comfort layer made of open cell foam which, combined with the air flow offered by the spring layer and breathable sleep surface, makes for altogether cooler, more chilled out nights.
