  1. The Promoter 

The promoter is: Simba Sleep Limited (Company Number 09703422) of 5th Floor, Halo, Counterslip, Bristol, BS1 6AJ ("Simba") 

  1. The competition 

  1. The title of the competition is Review Giveaway Prize Draw (the “Promotion”). 

  1. All capitalized terms defined in the Simba General Terms appearing in these Review Giveaway Prize Draw terms have the meanings as defined therein, and these Review Giveaway Prize Draw terms are subject to and must be interpreted in conjunction with both the Simba General Terms and the Simba Website  Privacy Policy 

  1. How to enter 

  1. Definition of Reviewable Product: A Reviewable Product means any product purchased directly from the Promoter's website that qualifies for review and entry into the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to determine which products are eligible as Reviewable Products.  

  1. This Promotion is a one-off, targeted prize draw open only to customers who receive a direct email invitation from the Promoter on or after 1st June 2025. To qualify, reviews must be submitted in response to that invitation between 1st June and 30th June 2025. This Promotion is not part of an ongoing monthly series. 

  1. Definition of Entry: An entry means a qualifying product review submitted via Yotpo in response to a direct invitation from the Promoter. Only reviews received through this method will be considered valid entries. 

  1. Each Reviewable Product review counts as one entry into the prize draw. 

 

  1. Example of how this prize draw entry process operates; if a customer submits an entry on the 1st of June, that entry will be included in the prize draw. The draw will close at 23:59 on 30th of June, and the winners will be selected during the first week of July. Any entries submitted from the 1st of July 2025 onwards will not be counted towards the prize draw. 

  1. To enter the competition: 

  1. Upon purchasing a Simba Reviewable Product, customers will receive an email inviting them to leave a product review via the platform “Yotpo”.  

  1. Once the product review is submitted via Yotpo, customers will be automatically entered into the prize draw. 

  1. Each entry is automatically included in the prize draw. 

  1. Multiple entries are allowed by submitting reviews for each Reviewable Product purchased.  

  1. Reviews must be submitted via Yotpo. Reviews submitted via any other channel are excluded. 

  1. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are not successfully completed due to technical malfunctions, including hardware or software failures, satellite, network or server failures of any kind 

  1. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. Customers who receive an invitation to submit a review and do not wish to participate in the Promotion may opt out by following the opt-out instructions provided in the review invitation email. A link to these Terms and Conditions will be included in the review invitation email so that customers are aware of the Promotion rules before submitting their review. 

  1. Eligibility 

  1. The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, who: 

(a) Have purchased a Reviewable Product directly from the Promoter; 

(b) Have received a review invitation from the Promoter via Yotpo; 

(c) Submit a valid review as an entry in accordance with Clause 3.   

  1. The following individuals are not eligible to enter: 

  1. employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies; 

  1. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or 

  1. members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above. 

  1. By submitting an entry, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements outlined in Clause 4.1 and 4.2, and that no ineligibility under Clause 4.3 applies. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of:  

(a) A valid purchase of a Reviewable Product; 

(b) A valid review invitation received from the Promoter; 

(c) Identity and age verification if required. 

Failure to provide sufficient proof upon request may result in disqualification. 

  1. The Promoter will not accept, or may deem invalid, any entry that falls into the following categories: 

  1. automatically generated by computer or created by AI-generated reviews; 

  1. completed by third parties or in bulk; 

  1. illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; 

  1. or incomplete, such as reviews missing key information required by the review form. 

 If an entry is initially accepted but later found to violate these terms, the Promoter reserves the right to declare it void at any time. 

 

  1. Entries on behalf of another person, and/or joint submissions, are not permitted and will be held void. 

  1. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you and/or declare any entry void if the Promoter suspects or detects conduct which it deems contrary to the spirit or intention of a of this prize draw. 

  1. Competition entries cannot be returned. 

  1. This Promotion and any prize draw offered under it is not open to acceptance where prohibited. 

  1. The prize 

  1. Prize Draw Process: Three winners will be selected by a random draw, performed by a computer process, from all eligible entries received between 00:00 GMT or BST as applicable in England on the 1st of June and 23:59 GMT or BST as applicable in England on the last day of the month 30th June 2025. 

  1. The draw will take place during the first week of July 2025. 

  1. Winners will be notified within 7 days after the draw takes place. 

  1. Each winner will receive a prize consisting of a full refund to the original payment method equivalent to the total price paid for the entire order in which the Reviewable Product selected as the winning entry was purchased. 
     

  1. Special conditions:  

  1. If the Reviewable Product selected as a winning entry was added to the order free of charge as part of a promotion or otherwise, and the total order value was £0, the prize awarded will instead be a voucher matching the full value of the order, based on the non-promotional prices of the items included. 

  1. If the Reviewable Product selected as a winning entry was a free promotional product and no other eligible paid-for Reviewable Product was in the order, a winner will instead receive a voucher equivalent to the non-promotional price of the selected product, as a substitute for a refund. 

  1. If the Reviewable Product selected as a winning entry is identified as a ‘delivery service,’ the prize awarded will instead be equivalent to the price paid for the least expensive, eligible Reviewable Product in that order. 

  1. The content of the review left by a customer is not relevant. For example, where you are invited to review a bed but elect to write a review of the delivery service associated with that bed without reference to the bed Product, your review for the purposes of the Promotion is treated as a review of the bed Product.  

 

 

  1. The prize for each winner is non-exchangeable and non-transferable. 

 

  1. Winners 

  1. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw and the prize winners is final and binding in respect of the prize draw conducted under this Promotion, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. 

  1. The Promoter will contact the winners personally by email via hello@simbasleep.com within 7 days after the Draw Date, using the contact details provided when placing the order associated with the review. 

  1.  The prize draw entry form is the order placed, and the contact information will be the email address or phone number used when placing the order. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the entry form has been submitted. 

  1. Winners must respond within 7 days of notification to confirm acceptance to process the prize. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select an alternate winner for the draw via repeating the draw process set out. 

  1. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will publish the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable, their winning entries on Simba’s website.  

  1. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at hello@simbasleep.com.  In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority or regulatory bodies on request.  

  1. Claiming the prize 

  1. The prize will be processed within 30 days of the winner accepting the prize. If the prize can be refunded to the original payment method, it will be processed in that way. 

  1. If the prize cannot be refunded to the original payment method, the Promoter will request the winner’s bank details in writing via the email address used at the time of the order, which must be the winner’s own bank account, located in the UK, to complete the transfer. If the winner does not provide the requested bank details within 7 days of the request, the prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter may select an alternate winner in accordance with Clause 7. 

  1. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf. 

  1. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 7 of days of the Announcement Date for that month's prize draw, the Promoter reserves the right to re-draw from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date. 

  1. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize. 

  1. Limitation of liability 

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. 

  1. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights 

  1. The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your competition entry beyond the terms to which a customer has already agreed to be bound in the context of leaving a review. By submitting a review via Yotpo, you acknowledge that your review is submitted via Yotpo and is subject to Yotpo’s various terms, (including Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other terms as applicable). For further information, please refer to Yotpo’s website. 

  1. Data protection and publicity 

  1. The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the https://simbasleep.com/pages/privacy. See also condition 6.6 and condition 7, with regard to the announcement of winners. 

  1. Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion will be processed only as set out in the Promoter's Privacy Policy. See condition 6.6 regarding the announcement of winners. By participating in the Promotion, Participants consent to the processing of their personal data as necessary to facilitate their entry, verify eligibility, and award prizes. 

  1. The Promoter will receive information from the review platform Yotpo, confirming that a review has been submitted by a Participant. This information will include only the details necessary to identify the review and the associated purchase, enabling the entry to be included in the prize draw. 

  1. Participants must note that interacting with the Yotpo website or services offered by Yotpo is in accordance with Promoter's Privacy Policy and the policies of Yotpo, as outlined in Clause 9.1.  

  1. Information will be shared between the Promoter and the Yotpo platform not otherwise than in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy and the policies of Yotpo to administer the Promotion, including to facilitate the proper award of any prize by the Promoter.  

  1. Participants’ surnames and counties may be published on the Promoter's website to meet regulatory requirements. Participants may object to this publication by contacting the Promoter; however, this information may still be disclosed to regulatory authorities (e.g., the Advertising Standards Authority) upon request. 

 

  1. General 

  1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in any prize draw under this Promotion. 

  1. The Promoter reserves a general right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend terms or the conduct of any prize draw under the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so beyond other terms set out herein. 

  1. These Terms and Conditions apply to a one-off targeted Promotion during June 2025.  

  1. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
